King's X ????

Ok I want to start off saying I'm not talking about the artist King's X. In this movie they say King's X a lot and I was wondering what it meant on the government/police area?

I will say this... Been a die hard King's X fan since about 1989 and when i thought I haed them say it in the movie i just figured I misunderstood them. Then I saw the text message and was totally excited cause they do not get anywhere near the attention they have deserved as a band...
Anyway... King's X is a game kids used to play in London (I think) and it was kinda like tag and the way to get free from being tagged was to cross your middle finger over your pointer to make an x. Im sure if you look it up on google it would tell you. I found this article so hopefully that helps...

Yes but why is it mentioned in the text message and what could it mean in the context of the situation??

We call this the Loom of Fate.

King's X was just the way that Wander gave permission to his guys. When Ludlow came to Wander's house at night and wanted the green-light for taking out Washington's killers, he requested a King's X. Then near the end, when Wander sends a text message to Clady, he tells him to kill Ludlow and signs it King's X. So bascially it was just Wander's stamp of approval.

King's X is The Greatest Band Of All-Time.

It's also known as End Ex (End Exercise). Like, it's over. It's sometimes said in military exercises to indicate the end of the exercise or training session.
