Tiresome topic

I get so tired of unnecessary rape references in film. It's overdone in this film. The constant disrespect of women is so annoying and every two words spoken is a curse word.

Rape of the korean schoolgirls is mentioned, the scumbag cops wanted to rape Ludlow's mexican nurse girlfriend and kill her, and Mohr supposedly tried to rape Washington's wife.

What was the point of the directors throwing in an attempted rape scene with Wsahington's wife? That could have been cut. Just have the guy steal the video and leave her alone, why the unnecessary attempted rape scene? What's to gain from raping her? Perhaps they believe there is an audience of perverts who enjoy that type of crap in film.
