If Jake Hoyt went bad

No complaints here. After seeing Training day I always wondered what would happen if Hoyt played along with and joined Alonzo's unit instead of being a boy scout. Street Kings is basically that movie, perhaps a few years down the line. Im so glad this movie got made.

Its funny, I always more felt that Ethan Hawke's character in Assault on Precinct 13 was kinda a quasi-follow up to Jake Hoyt, just in that he's been in narcotics for a while, and its burned him out, and now here he gets to redeem himself again. Then again, I still have to see Brooklyn's Finest.
