This was my favorite movie of 2008 hands-down, Keanu Reeves really nailed the Role, Forest Whitaker done a Awesome job, the ending with Keanu and Forest was really memorable, It's so intense and dramatic, Forest should have one an Academy award for playing the bad cop, one of my favorite cop movies.

as for best of 2008... that would go to the following 4 films (in no order)...
-Felon (9/10)
-The Dark Knight (9/10) (without Ledgers great performance this would probably have been a 8/10 like the 2005 Batman Begins film)
-Gran Torino (10/10)
-Valkyrie (9/10)
but i would say Street Kings (8/10) is probably the best of the rest ;) , as i seen it at least 3-4 times now and it don't get old as i think those cop type films this is my 2nd favorite behind Training Day which is the best. plus Street Kings somewhat feels like Training Day to. Street Kings is MUCH better than 'Brooklyn's Finest' (2009) (directed by the guy who did Training Day) which was a 6/10 tops. that was disappointing as it was not even vaguely close to Training Day which is a 9-10/10.

I thought this was a great cop movie, would give it an 8/10. I was really quite surprised. The story was engrossing, the performances were excellent especially with Reeves delivering his career-best work to date, and David Ayers shows a terrific knack for choreographing and filming exciting action sequences.
