Do the bad haircuts bother anyone else?

Hugh Laurie's bad bald patch and Chris Evans buzz cut really annoyed me throughout this whole movie. It doesn't add anything to the character except the equivalent of placing a giant wart on someones forehead. Evans chop job looked like a money on meth attacked him with a lawn mower, I've never seen a cop with a haircut that bad. It's pointless distractions like these that pull you out of the story and remind you you're watching actors in a bad movie.

You noticed their HAIR?

It's not as if any of these guys would have ever stepped out of GQ. Chris Evan's hair looked just fine. These guys didn't do glamorous work. The haircuts suited the characters.

I noticed the bald patch on Laurie and wondered whether it was real, since it's so artfully styled on House MD.

...I didn't even notice their hair at all. Wow. Were you that bored?

Then what about yours, in that case? You appear to be a Star Wars fan too.
you have lived in a body bag since 1993

No I haven't. I was in kindergarten in 1993.

No he isn't. And what crab fellows do you speak of?

No I wasn't at all bored, I really liked the movie but I couldn't help but notice Hugh Laurie's big bald spot. He's not bald on House!

reply

They mask his hair cosmetically for House.

I wasn't bored, but I did notice Hugh's bald spot. It was hard not to notice it.

I didn't mind it at all. I wish I could say the same for Nicholas Cage. His 'do is quite the distraction lately.

LOL, I know, Cage's hair is a constant source of amusement for me!

I noticed Chris's bad hair cut as well, terrible!

I have a friend his name is Denny he got a brother named McDonald and a sister named Wendy!

reply

That's Hugh Laurie's real hair. You can see it at most award shows he goes to and talk shows he does. They hide it on House, M.D. but even there it is gradually disappearing. I don't think they'll ever have him as bald as he is IRL, but it is getting a little thinner on the show.

Corrupt cops generally don't have great hair. I guess it's not important.

Someone called out Keanus supercut in the actual film, when he goes up to the mexican gang with the gun to spook the guy into running. Was I the only person to notice this, maybe I heard it wrong?
