This movie really isn't that bad

After reading some reviews, people really bashed this movie harshly. But I've seen much worse. Honestly, it isn't that bad. Certainly watchable and definitely entertaining. I remember as a kid, I used to think this was one of the coolest movies ever made. Now being in my 20's, I can't exactly say that now. But I must say, surprisingly, this film still holds up.

This is one of those "style over substance" scenarios. One thing I most certainly have to give this film credit for...is creativity. The cinematography and whole method of directing is so unusual, stylistic, and captivating. The film is shot beautifully. And this is something that a lot of people complained about. But I personally was intrigued by how this film was shot. It was such a unique movie watching experience, unlike any other.

And the plot isn't all that bad either. I mean, sure, there may be some plot holes and inconsistencies. But for the most part, this film is 100% entertaining and adrenaline fueled. The cast was pretty much perfect. Keira Knightly delivered a fantastic performance as Domino, and on a side note, she looked amazing as well. The soundtrack was awesome. Overall, I found it to be a solidly entertaining and one of a kind film. Rather underrated as well.

I never finished it, but i was hungover and the style was giving me a headache. I will try to rewatch again one day with a healthy head.

Scott the lesser VERBATIM repeated the ending from True Romance. Talk about being creatively bankrupt. The True Romance script was written by Tarantino, so Scott the lesser plagiarized Quentin Tarantino from a movie that Scott the lesser had the good luck to direct.

The rip-off ending is the least of the movie's problems. The horrible direction, ugly cinematography, atrocious editing, and the incredibly stupid script are only scratching the surface of how truly awful the whole thing was.

I thought it was okay. Not one of Tony Scott's best. But it has its moments.
