this is pure comedy genius. peter kay is a genius.i thought phoenix nights was class but he just keeps getting funnier. i cant wait for his next stand up tour, im sure he will have some stories about his baby.

Some spin-offs can be (and are) terrible but - as you say - this is a brilliant series. At first I wasn't sure about them bringing Brian Potter back in the prison episode but it turned out to be really good. (As ever, he's trying to make money out of something. Or, in this case, someone else's problems.)
It could have been pathetic but I like the way the characters were filled out.
The eyes are open, the mouth moves, but Mr. Brain has long since departed, hasn't he, Perce?
