One of the nicest, most creative match cuts you will ever see...

About 15 minutes into the movie, there is a side profile scene of Esteban sitting in an airport waiting area, which then seamlessly and almost imperceptibly morphs into him sitting in the plane next to his hunting trip companion, which then turns into the two of them riding in their Jeep, going to a hotel.

True, the final transition is not quite lined up as perfectly as the first, but the whole effect was quite mesmerizing. Lots of kudos for the care that went into planning those shots.

I do have to agree! It's a wonderful match cut, specially after receiving that letter from his wife! It keeps the mood and ends with the car drifting along the road into the distance. Oh yeah!

That was a meticulously-crafted sequence. And there are actually 3 match cuts, starting with him sitting on his bed at home before the airport.
