Prisoner 8612

Ezra has evolved as an actor, now that he's older. I think with this kind of performance will he get a lot of major roles in the coming years. Great talent, keep going dude!

And he's way cuter than I realized in Perks. 😍

I found his acting performance to be highly incongruent. In one scene, he is a wimpy Emo crybaby, in the next scene he is a macho tough guy, in the next scene is a wimpy Emo crybaby again, etc.

I can't tell if his performance is wonky due to bad acting and/or bad directing and/or bad writing, but it's definitely due to one or more of those factors.

He (the character) was probably toughing it up while around the rest of the inmates, and only breaks down (or pretends to, in order to leave the prison) when he is left alone, either in the hole or with the directors of the investigation. I find it coherent.

Here to remind you that this film was based on actual events. Perhaps the actor was playing a part based on what actually happened. The prisoner he was portraying likely acted this way. There are recordings of the experiment, and those involved are alive, so he obviously had a lot to base his character on.

mental issues can make someone seem different in different parts of the month. and you don't know what can happen to you if you spend hours alone in a small room. i surprise myself sometimes still @ age 31.
