I wonder if originally she was suppose to have a bigger role and he was to end up with her, instead they just drop that whole plot line. Probably the weakest part of the film in my impression, it just seemed so rushed. This could also be due to the fact that they did three weeks of re-shooting? Any Ideas?
shareActually, I'm glad they dropped that sub-plot. It's just so routine by this point, no one gives a sh!t if he hooks up with the girl he had a crush on in highschool. I'm guessing the only reason her character appears in the movie at all is because she's present at the carnival scenes.

She does reappear at the credit section during "christmas" time. At the ending I was kinda mad at she was left out- I wanted some closure and he did become sane again. I was happy when I saw that she was in the Christmas scene.
