What's with all the corn jokes???

As being from Nebraska, I found this movie pretty funny. Except for the constant corn jokes and that blonde ***** calling us hicks.

"Cornival" "Corncob Key" "Corncob Queen"

Are you kidding me???

Western Nebraska may be somewhat empty, but the entire state does NOT revolve around corn.

It would be more appropriate to be making beef jokes all throughout the movie.

All anybody knows about Nebraska is that there is a football team there called "Cornhuskers". All the jokes are built on that premise.

It's far more fun to build a movie around an assumed stereotype than to make fun of something that is real.
