Ending was terrible!

What an awful ending! Does this ending condone what the gym teacher did to the kids for all those years??!! The movie wasn't bad, but the ending was a real let down.

i mean its juss a movie, it dosent have to be 100% accurate, but i thought the ending was pretty good, and most of the kids that woodcock was hard on thanked him for pushing them so hard, even farley thanked him

i agree i just saw this for the 1st time tonight and when woodcock says 'just joking' and the screen goes black i was just like 'that better not be the ending.. that's such BS' then the credits started rolling.. i was like... that's retarded. for sure.

that's the OP's whole point, mikey. It was absolutely RIDICULOUS to thank Woodcock for what he did. He was a total tyrannical *beep* who abused and scarred children.

The whole movie was kind of okay up until the ending, which was just inexcusably horrible. There's no way that kind of behavior should be condoned.

well in this day and age, it wouldent hurt kids 2 toughen up a little bit for later on in life...

Most of this movie was pretty weak. Overall, it was a big let down.

hahahaha... wow you never did got to gym class did you?
my gym teacher and every one of my coaches were alot worse than that..
you have to get out of the chess club and got to gym to know that though,
but im sure your writing/reading this from your mothers basement about now
inbatween your star trek specials and WOW...
this was a halarious MOVIE... you ppl need to loosen up and realize that some things are just done for a laugh

my wife and i watched this movie three days ago. i laughed my fool head off the entire movie... then the end came. after all that, the point was "it was just gym"? this is the other end of "everyone's a winner" -- everyone's told they are a loser and must "get over it" because "it was just gym".

Yeah, that douche bag should have been put to jail. Anyone who treats kids like that should be beaten. And would a woman actually love a grumpy guy who abused her kid both physically and mentally? What a disgrace for a mom.
