It's one of the best movies I've seen. I can't believe they managed to do a video adaptation this good. And it was made in 2005!! It stands the test of time amazingly!
Maybe I'm just a huge "Aliens" series fan and that's why I loved the feeling, but it's something that we needed in contemporary cinema.
My ratings are not always like the IMDB average score because I only enjoy intelligent movies.
I caught this on Netflix the other day with a couple hours to kill. It wasn't a bad film at all. It was sort of a cross between Aliens and Resident Evil. Very enjoyable. I liked the FPS perspective at the end. It was a twist the Rock ended up being a bad guy in the end.

shareIt tracked like a first person shooter video game but for this particular video game the mood, the dread, the fear, the jump scares were all missing. For those who where attached to the immersive aura of Doom it lacked that intimate claustrophobic feeling.
