No hate please ... I liked it 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Gutenberg affair story was pointless other than to have a spare victim, but other than that it was alright.

Better than the Kurt Russell film, not as good as the original (but that could just be nostalgia).

Rutger Hauer was actually great in this - the scene with him and Sylvia Syms made me cry (as did the same scene in the original).

Sure, some of the effects aren't perfect but good enough for a TV movie imo.

I was expecting this to be a total cheese fest but actually it's pretty good. True to the original with a bit of an updated storyline (terrorism instead of tidalwave) and more of a story from the rescue team.

Side observation; Rutger Hauer looks alot like Anthony Hopkins these days!
