(Ratings) Disaster
With Hallmark's "Not The Poseidon Adventure" a very expensive flop in the Nielsens, we can quickly forget about it and look forward to Wolfgang Petersen's version with a little hope.
Character-wise it may not stick to Gallico's novel, either, but I can safely expect it to be far superior to Hallmark's ridiculous mess.
Why fight in court over the rights to a film, or its title, if you can't be bothered to try and make the film GOOD? Hallmark's version is the real-life equivalent of that "Simpsons" joke, "Roger Corman's Titanic."
