If the writers of this version cut the character of Manny Rosen, then why does Mrs. Rosen make 20+ references to him? Also, as an amateur filmmaker, I'd love to know where that annoying kid got his "magic" camera which is apparently waterproof, fireproof, and able to survive at least a 25 foot jump (into more water) I know it's a movie but c'mon.

I made a movie about a pie that fights a terrorist dog and saves the planet Ptuioilkiqe. Then it sits perfectly still for twenty-five uncut minutes before having a mental breakdown, which leads to the invention of calculus. Then it's two minutes of footage of a horse's sigmoidoscopy, after which a passenger ship flips over for no reason, and everyone climbs safely out of a hatch that just happens to be on the bottom of the ship's hull. Then Batman shows up! He rapes the ship's captain. The film ends on a symbolic note: close-ups of pork rinds and plenty of star-wipes with a narration by famed tick-victim Gino Reginald Pizzlegetthi reading a passage from a Japanese comic book I found on a train.
What? It's just a movie, man. Come on.
