SMS (Text Message)
Since the late nineties, there is something called SMS on our cellulars.
Wouldn't it be logical to start sending text messages with an SOS to whom ever you could.
Even after the electricity would go out.
Perhaps there was no service? I dont know... but thats a good point! Never thought of that before.

I had a cool sig, it exceeded 100 char. So instead of something cool, you have me complaining.
It def wouldnt work tho because of the steel hull blockin an recepetion and beside i doubt cell phones really work that well on ships to begin with

the only thing that would work out there would be a satellite phone and i doubt people carry those around in their pocket.
