All in All, I did not think it was that bad

Nobody is a bigger fan of the original Poseidon Adventure than myself and I must say, I did not think this movie is as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I just finished the DVD. The funny part of the DVD is that the movie is broken into two parts with part one ending with credits. I guess it was going to be on for two nights and cut into one.

I was very disapppoitned with the special effects though. The computer graphic images of the ship turnig over were very fake. I mean I don't even think it looked at all real. I think the original movie made the boat turning over look more real. Doeas anyone else think the same thing.

Finally, I agree with the person's comments about time not being kind to C. Thomas Howell. I disagree with the comments about Steve Guttenberg. He is fantastic shape for a guy in his fifties. I could not get over his snaggle tooth on the right hand side of his mouth. Did he always have that? Why would he not get that fixed. Did anyone notice this?

UM, Steve Guttenberg is only in his FORTIES! So I agree, he has not aged well!

Ok point well taken but he still had a great body for a man at any age, very toned and muscular. But what about that snaggle tooth?
