Does anyone think that this flop of a movie hurt Poseidon. Are people not going to the see Poseidon because this movie was so bad? Was there too much remake of Poseidon this year?

shareOK, one more time. The TV remake really wasn't a remake, in the true sence. They had bought the rights to the BOOK, not the MOVIE. The "reinvisioning" called Poseidon was done by people who bought the rights to remake the MOVIE. Two different people owned the different rights, and each sold the ones they owned.

Poseidon hurt Poseidon because the tw ats at Warner Bro's decided to heavily edit the film. They stripped the ending down, they stripped interactions with characters down before the wave hit. Poseidon was butchured

The TV REMAKE has so many subplots that it becomes too much for the film.
The Theatrical Remake is so butchered, you dont even know what's going on and who is who. Plus all 3 women had dark cloths and dark hair. When wet, it was hard to tell who was who.
