shareI didn't like it at all. I thought it was just a very bad remake. The original poseidon adventure had nothing to do with terrorists in it. To be honest, I can't even remember if there was a rogue wave. I know there was a dumb plot concerning a bomb exploding. There wasn't much of a capsize either, just seemed to quickly roll over.One thing I did notice was that, when people were falling from the 'floor' to the 'ceiling' all they had to do was fall from what looked like a 5ft drop. Very scary - I'm sure. Steve Guttenberg - why does everybody give him a hard time? Fai enough he was good in Police Academy as Sgt Mahoney and in Tower of Terror. Actors change and I wish people would leave him alone.
This movie TV movie just seemed to fake to be sitting on the edge of my seat. The best, by far, will always be the original.

I only saw the last 20 minutes or so, had fun picking out all the faces I recognized.
Aside from that, a pretty cheesy production. Can someone tell me why they had to stand while crossing the final catwalk? Wouldn't any of us have crawled across that thing?
And the kid taping the sinking -- someone already mentioned the camera wouldn't even work. But he never looked at the camera once, was even pointing it skyward, yet the image is perfectly framed every time we see it (OK, a minor point considering).
