it's great to see a film that doesn't idolise marines and soldiers, so that we can actually explore an interesting story and dynamic of modern war...
shareThis was a really good movie, it’s been called ‘boring’ by some but that was the point. These young troops are raring to show off their hard earned skills and take on the enemy and they dream of glory but it turns out to be all pain, drudgery, and home sickness.
I liked that it showed the audience another aspect of war, the lifestyle of the men and women on the ground.
