Can anybody tell me, why there is no one else in the hospital; no other patients and no other doctors; no nurses... nobody? Is there any explanation why?

Everytime I watch this movie, I find it quite strange.

Eigentlich war es ganz schön groß. Aber auch auf den Gängen nicht eine Menschenseele.

Hab mich halt nur gefragt, ob das ne Interpretationssache ist, oder doch ne "normale Erklärung" hat...

Well it looks like a quiet little village in the middle of nowhere so perhaps it's only a little hospital.
