Yeah I'm waiting for it to come on in the next 20 minute's. Looks pretty creepy from the small clips I've seen.
I hope I'm not disappointed.

Saw it on Film4 here in the UK and it instantly reminds me of some real life events. I hope I will not offend anybody, espeically the families involved, but just want to get it out of my head.
Near London is the Deepcut Barricks used by the Bristish Armed Forces. In recent years four young recruits died there in separate incidents but under similar circumstances, fatally shot themselves with own rifle while standing on lone guard duty at night. Official investigation attributed the deaths to the bullying treatements suffered by the young soldiers, who committed suicide as a result. But I do find it quite spooky.
Back to the movie. Although I find it unnecessary for the platoon to march through the forest and got caught up in the mayhem, when they could have been dropped off directly at R-point by a chopper, have any other viewers got the same message as me - If they had taken the girl snipper they wounded as POW, giving her medical treatment/food/shelter instead of leaving her behind to die in the forest, they might have redeemed the blood on their hand and live to return home?
yeah i like ur interpretation but i can only really see that idea going wrong........(rape)
shareso..what did u think of r point.disappointing?
i thought it was ok
I thought "R-Point" was great! Very eerie and atmospheric, something hollywood horror movie's fail to achieve these days. I'm glad I watched it and will be buying the DVD very soon.
I missed "Brotherhood", though no doubt it'll be repeated very soon on film four.

hey watch brotherhood on saterday after the texas chain saw massacre... the only time it will be repeated... so dont miss it and tell me what u thought of it!
shareJust got done watching "Brotherhood". It was excellent! The combat scenes were superb and very realistic, obviously heavily influenced by "Saving Private Ryan". I'd say it's one of the best war movie's I've seen for a while since "Black Hawk Down".

Korean week is indeed good! I thought brotherhood was an incredible film, and looking for to R-Point on the 11th
shareLove film 4, hate adverts.
"Piracy doesn't kill the film industry, sh*t films kill the film industry"
Ah but without the adverts it wouldn't be free.
I just watched R-Point last night after taping it. I hadn't seen a war horror (of the supernatural kind) movie before so it made a nice change. I don't think I was paying enough attention because I didn't know what was going on half the time but I enjoyed it anyway, that's the main thing.
