Worth buying?
I'm thinking of buying this and wanted to ask those who enjoyed it if it stands up to other Asian horror such as The Eye, Dark Water etc.

shareIt's very different. I think a lot of people after the first time they've seen it, write it off as a simple ghost story. I'm fairly certain it's a little more complex than that.
shareIt's one of those films taht fry your brain. If you're up to phsychological thrillers, then it's definitely worth buying.
shareSweet. As soon as I find a copy on ebay, I will treat myself.

I'd say not. I liked Ring, Dark Water and The Eye a lot but must say I have been let down by a lot of the Asia Extreme stuff I've seen since then.
R Point didn't really go anywhere with the plot (which was confusing - I got the gist of it but it certainly didn't live up to the potential of its premise) and just wasn't scary.
I have enjoyed Asian horrors and Vietnam movies, as well as army horror flicks like Deathwatch and Dog Soldiers. This just didn't do anything for me.
Worth seeing... But, not really worth buying... Perhaps you could see about renting a copy from somewhere and then decide if you want to invest in a copy of your own.
I just got done taming a wild honeymoon stallion for you guys.
Well, I finally got around to watching this. I enjoyed it. Some of it was a little hard to follow but I quite like that in a film. I don't want every little thing explained to me. While it maybe could have done with one or two more creepy moments such as (small spoiler)
the solider walking behind the other soliders in the long grass just before they dropped as if taking cover and then vanished, it was pretty effective overall.
you lot don't know what your talking about. This movie was great, no it wasn't all that scary but it was still great i loved it in so many doffrent ways. deffinatly worth buying as soon as possible, great movie!
shareI would say so, if it's under $10.
