Snyder reveals he wrote a "final chapter" to 300 but it was rejected by Warner Bros

Well, 300 spent 65 mil and made back 450 mil, while 300 2: 300 Harder spent 110 million to make almost 340 million, so...good call?
Plus, that article says that Snyder's "Part 3" wasn't really connected to 300 and would be a love story between Alexander the Great and a general - Hephaestion. I'm not surprised a gay romance as the third act of Testosterone and Spears was rejected by the studio.
Plus-plus, I'm not personally wild about Snyder's writing talents. He directs a nice action scene, but I'm not sure I'd want to green-light something of his that hinged on a love story, even one centred in combat and violence.
