I think they also used it in the scene where Ichigo and Momoko fight it out with the gang. The music was also used in Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, and I kept thinking this was somewhat of an homage to the Kubrick film -- especially in the gang fight scene.
