Wow, I did't think I would Like It, But I Did

Held off on this one for a while and finally caught it on a whim. Pretty damn good. Nice little story to pass the time with. I was a little surprised how little they used Jennifer Hudson's character, though. Maybe in the book she had more to do. I see there are a few post hating on Alicia Keys (as usual) but I thought she was great. I hated her guts just like I was supposed to. Queen's acting was world class (boy, she has completely gone Hollywood and doin' it right) Oh, and we need to see more of that Denzell look-a-like dude (forgot his name) he was impressive as well. In fact I loved everything about the movie except for the fact that the dad basically gave up his daughter without more of a fight, especially to a bunch of black chicks, but that's my only gripe.

Oh, and I hope Dakota doesn't lose her talent and become a washed up child star like so many before her. That would be a total waste.
