Loved the Mary tale - Brazil's patron is black as well!
The patron of Brazil is black. It's Nossa Senhora Aparecida and the story is very similar to the one told in the movie. It has always made me very proud that our patron is black, and after seen this movie, I felt even more blessed - so many here worship her, being black or white.
