Is what I thought it was, regardless of color, which it it should it always come down to. Always. The purpose of film is to make somebody laugh, cry, jump, feel sad. You know feel emotion... I thought this film was beautiful, moving and uplifting, full emotions that anybody is capable of sensing even if they are not liking it. Do you feel the same? Do You feel? It's okay if You don't.
shareI agree...it is a beautiful film. DK's scene where she tells QL that she is unloveable always brings me to tears, no matter how many times I watch it. And when PB tells his daughter "Good riddance" and walks away from her, the stricken look on her face breaks my heart.

Just watched this quiet, lovely movie for the second time. I felt all the things you felt.
The performances were really quite amazing - all should be very proud.
I'm glad I got some positive responses, some people don't see what a great film can be if they can sit and feel the emotions intended.
