I haven't seen the movie, they could have been good, but I'm assuming they were casted just for being famous. Which always works out, right?
They were very good honestly. Should watch the movie and see.

Jennifer Hudson won the Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in Dream Girls, Queen Latifah has several good, while not award winning, movies to her credit, and Alicia Keys was excellent in this....so I dare say, their names were not picked out of a hat. These ladies are very talented.

shareThese women were cast because they fit the parts of May, June, August and Rosaleen perfectly. It's lovely to see these talented leading black women playing such inspirational figures. I love this movie :)
