At first I thought that that scene in Hounddog was innapropriate but now I know better. There is nothing wrong with cute little girls making movies about getting naked and f-cking, performing mutual masturbation scenes and talking about "Show me your penis Daddy" as long as its in context. As a matter-of-fact I should look into having my fifth grade students put on a school play version of Hounddog. I am pretty sure that the school is not going to be burned down the next day should it become known that I asked my ten year-old students to assimilate butt-naked rape scenes, mutual masturbation scenes as long as the scenes are in context. Oh no the parents wouldn't cover me in multiple stab wounds if I were to put on such a play.

You're either ignorant or you're simply just a troll.
Dakota Fanning was never naked in the movie. She wore a body suit.
She wasn't "f-cking" either.
She wasn't masturbating.
She never asked her dad to show her his penis. She asked her friend.

If you're really this delusional, I think the last thing you should be doing is teaching 5th graders.

Troll, I think, is more than likely.

In my heart of hearts, I believe that posters who rail with little or no regard for what's actually in the movie, who make provocative, inflammatory statements, and substitute sarcasm for genuine observation are actually using us to amuse themselves. Or even worse, using us to mentally (I hope) indulge themselves in the very activities they're railing against. I mean, when I watched HOUNDDOG I was watching the movie, you know? I wasn't searching for legal infractions or evidence of child molestation. I was watching a story about this girl who's sort of a tomboy dealing with a difficult, confusing home life. Her evolving sexuality is not presented as a turn on, nor does the film ask the viewer to contemplate anatomical facts. The focus is always on character and emotion. Fanning is a good actress. She shares the character's thoughts and inner life with us. I wish the film was better for her. But more to the point, given what actually happens in the movie, someone who finds infraction, actress trauma, and titillation in HOUNDDOG brings these thoughts and images with them when they sit down to watch it.

Am not so sure Overreacted is delusional, but I do think someone with these kind of images in mind should maybe not be teaching 5th graders.

This person's description of deplorable scenes that did not actually happen in the movie is so scary that I hope and pray my children never attend the school where this individual is employed. What a creepy imagination.

That is such an inaccurate description of this film i am speechless!!
Thew rape scene might offend some..but the fact that it goes on every day in this country should be more offensive.
