I watched the movie up until the rape and a couple places after. Could someone please tell me if anything ever happened to the milk boy after the rape? Did he just get away with it? Why was the dad naked around this boy? Was he trying to confront him and how did Lewellen know he was there? Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Why was the dad naked around this boy? he was struck by lightening, and lost his mental faculties. the boy being there had nothing to do with it.
Was he trying to confront him and how did Lewellen know he was there? she just knew he was out, and it was a very small town, not many places tobe.
the ending of the movie is well worth watching.
