The Rape scene in A Clockwork Orange was more disturbing
Honestly I don't get the controversy surrounding the rape scene in this film. I've seen rapes in films 10x more disturbing than that. Plus, it was pretty poorly acted too.
shareThe rape scene in clockwork orange was hilarious, the audience is meant to sympathize with Alex in that movie despite what a hooligan he is. The over the top rape of two nuns in a church in Bad Lieutenant was also strangely humorous.(probably because of the audacity of how foul that movie was with Keitel stumbling around in his birthday suit.) I don't exactly make it high priority to go around watching rape movies, but the rape of Tony Soprano's shrink was one of the more disturbing treatments of the topic.
