so wrong about this movie

I missed the first 5 mins of the movie so when i saw the little girl walking down the dirt road at night and she saw Elvis I assumed this was amovie about a little girl learning about rock n roll. Or maybe something about growing up as a poor girl in the south, but my main thought was it had something to do with Rock N Roll. No idea how wrong i was, this was a little too creepy for me.
