when Louanne was at the door talking to Buddy and and the gramma kept saying "who is it? Is someone here?"..That was just like her character did to sissy spasic in the movie "Carrie" (1976). Was that on purpose? lol

It sounds like Piper Laurie's playing the same character in this that she did in Carrie. :) It was probably on purpose. An homage...sort of. :)
