one thing about the pictures that doesn't make sense...

I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but to me the whole 'clues in the photos' thing doesn't make much sense. All the pictures of people were taken before they got on the roller coaster, so why do they depict these other deaths? If the photos show how someone will die than that basically means they were never destined to die on the roller coaster because death already knew someone was going to intervene which seems to destroy the whole idea of Deaths list and intervening to change the plan. I don't think I got my point across too eloquently, but maybe someone will get what I'm trying to say...

Mostly it's because the writers wanted a theme for this movie, and they went with photographs. However, it could be that the photos only became signs after they survived, like Death saw that all of its victims were photographed, and went with it, or something? Though assuming they weren't meant to die on the coaster kind of saves TFD's ending/makes it more plausable if you use your imagination, but not fully as I haven't quite got it done yet (not an appology, is a fanon thing).

My favorite Final Destination is the 4th – DEAL with it!

Or maybe after Death's plan was changed, he decided to make their deaths appear like the pictures as some sort of revenge.

I completely get what you mean. The clues in the photos shouldn't exist if everyone dying on the rollercoaster was really Death's design.

The presence of the photos only makes sense if you accept FD4's theory that the visions are being sent by Death to lead people to their intended deaths. Thus, Wendy was "meant" to have the premonition and everyone was "meant" to die the way they do in the photos.

If you don't accept that theory though (and FD5 basically ignores it anyway) then FD3 makes no sense.
