san sebastian, spain: culinary capital of the world..

with 2 entries in the top 8 alone, san sebastian, spain is clearly the culinary mecca of europe and the world..

meanwhile, poor useless-153, the board's resident WHINER and TROLL is nowhere to be found as usual.. he's no doubt desperately trying to dig up some obscure source somewhere that may actually speak 'favorably' of british native gourmet cookery.. but, alas, to no avail..

I have a feeling dear, old useless-153 is going to be m.i.a. for a long while 'researching' that one..

not only does spain have the largest number of entries [of any country in the world] in the top-45, but it also has the largest number of cities represented, with 5:

girona
san sebastian
larrabetzu
atxondo
denia

the uk only has one city represented in the top 45: london..

beyond that, britain remains a drab culinary wasteland, though I suppose that is pretty much common knowledge by now..

britain: the one-trick pony of the culinary world.. if it weren't for london, the uk would be about as relevant to the gourmet world as uganda..

and yet not a single comment from useless-153, the board's resident whiner/cowardly troll..

the sad, ugly truth about his native britain's so-called 'gourmet cuisine' has obviously left him completely silenced..
