Izzie possibly coming back?

Is it just me, or are there some recent hints that Izzie may be returning?

On the finale last season, Alex told Meredith that sometimes he thinks Izzie may have been the one love of his life, like Derek was for Meredith. This episode, Bailey told him he is going to be working at the Denny Duquette Memorial Clinic - they haven't mentioned the clinic in a long time as far as I remember, and they seemed to go out of their way to mention it today. Also, Alex screwing up with that kid because he was distracted is a lot like Izzie screwing up with that patient because she was distracted, which resulted in her being fired.

I know Shonda hates Katherine Heigl, and these could all be coincidences. What do you all think?

Coincidence. Shonda Rhimes has said she wants to focus on the original cast this season. But she's also made her intentions clear that she won't work with Heigl again. We hear about former characters from time to time. Unless something surprising changes I think all there will be of Izzie are mentions.

I would hope she could be professional enough to do what is in the best interest of the show and not her own personal grudges. If it makes sense to make Izzie come back even just as a small guest arc, they should do it, if it makes sense for the plot.

I definitely thought that too. That was too hard a name drop for the clinic - sorry, the Denny Duquette clinic- for nothing to come of it. Maybe more on the Denny side so Alex can get closure or something or other and become better as a person or some sort of bull, but SOMETHING nonetheless.

I wish, but I highly doubt. Izzie has always been one of my favorite characters in spite of all of the hate she gets. Heigl is a drama queen no doubt, but she was one of the best actresses and characters on this show.

I think the OP was trying to say, she does not know if KH is coming back, but if KH does she won't watch
