The constant music.

Does anyone else get tired of the sudden songs playing and not for a brief time but the whole song and you have to try and hear the characters talking above the music thats playing? You cant listen to both so why play the #@#$ music? Yes, sometimes music is ok, briefly; but not a whole song and not while a scene is going on. It's like listening to Celine Deon and Huey Lewis at the same time. Two totally different rhythms. can you listen to your husband or wife while your kids are asking you something at the same time? No.

Maybe play it if you must at the end as Meredith is summarizing all the events and commenting or at the beginning as the show begins but not all through the show. Its not possible to concentrate on both the actors and this song playing over the actors voices. Waaaay too distracting and annoying actually.

I agree with you. For years it has often seemed that the dialogue was secondary to the music. I've resorted to using closed captioning.

The music of greys has always been like an extra cast member. It creates an atmosphere and helps create emotional archs. The music is almost as important as the acting. It's like that in most dramas on tv and movies.
