Maggie is annoying

She seems very immature.

Cristina was likable because if she expressed an interest in Riggs - Criatina would be able to tell by Meredith's facial expression that she (Mer) had already been with Riggs.

Cristina would just shake it off - maybe briefly mentioning it if Mer had a surgery Cristina wanted.

It would not surprise me that after learnimg about Riggs and Meridith - Maggie will berate Riggs and Meridith then cry her eyes out while performing surgery.

Is Maggie supposed to be funny? It seems as though Meredith has been depicted as her mother's daughter. Is Maggie supposed to resemble Ellis in any way? I do not see Mqggie being similar to Ellis or Richard.

Also, why doesn't Meredith simply tell Maggie? It seems like a silly stance for Meredith to take. Maggie needing to drink hard liquor after speaking to Riggs about going out on a date also seemed silly. Is Maggie tryung to fit in with Meredith and Meredith friends? Is Maggie trying to illustrate "I have serious issues just like you guys. I amnso dark and twisted that I hqve to walk i and immediately hit the hard liquor?"

Maggie is too dense to realize that Alex requires no lessons in "how to live at Meredith's." Maggie doesn't realize that Alex lived with Meredith, Derrick, Izzie, and most of the hospital staff in the past? It seemed ridiculous when Maggie walked in, started drinking hard liquor from the bottle, and then told Alex "you live here now you will hear things."

This Meredith-Maggie-Riggs triangle is ridiculous. They're straining so hard for one of the dumbest, worst-written stories they've ever had.

Maggie's stammering like she's a nine-year old with her first crush on a boy and Meredith could have resolved everything with one simple sentence: Oh, I didn't realize you felt that way about Riggs; he and I have . . .relieved some tension together.

But instead they're stringing out multiple episodes of Meredith's sexual conflict, Meredith lying to the sister she just swore she'd never lie to, Meredith micro-managing everyone and everything. "Now Riggs, Maggie's going to come up to you and say this and then I want you to say that."

Seems like very poor writing for the main character in a show on its umpteenth season.


Maybe they should go back to the format where every episode had either two or three interesting patient stories and a couple of stories revolving around the doctors' interactions with each other.

I agree with everything everyone here is saying. But Maggie doesn't hold a candle to April ( I was hoping she would die in childbirth, i know that is a terrible thing to say). OMG. I have watched this show a million times from the start and here is my quick list of most to least annoying for me. Of course. this isn't every female surgeon. These days Meredith is the only one not annoying me..
