Thoughts
Some quick thoughts on last night...
1) Maggie/mer/Riggs...Maggie's acting like a teenage, Meredith is being ridiculous, but I'm starting to get on board with her and Riggs. It's no Meredith and Derek by any means but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Their scene in the scrub room was very well done. They've got similar wounds and I think that could be interesting to see them work past together. I just wish they'd cut out this unnecessary love triangle. We've had far too many as is.
2) April...did anyone else think they were going to do like a post partum depression storyline with her? When she kept handing off Harriette I almost got the impression they'd do something like that. I think it would be interesting to see that because it's a problem that effects a lot of mothers but is widely misrepresented in pop culture. If they could do a realistic and sensitive portrayal, I think it would make for a powerful storyline. But then I doubt they will because I'm sure they're going to focus on getting her and Jackson back together.
3) bailey and her stupid heels...I know we've seen chiefs in the past dress in like, button downs and ties, but we also saw them in scrubs very often. I feel like we NEVER see Bailey in scrubs anymore. She's always walking around looking like she's going to a business dinner. And I get it, she has a lot of administration duties now and has to dress the part. But realistically, are heels the best choice of footwear? Is she going to sprint to the ER in them? And before you cry sexist, know that I made the same complaints about Addison back in the day.
4) the family medical case was good last night. I actually felt myself tearing up when the daughter was saying she just wanted to say goodbye abd when the wife was in with her dead husband saying "our baby came back". It was really well done.
