Bailey
When we tell a family a patient is dead, I'd prefer if we were right.
Best line in a long time. Ah, maybe the old Bailey is coming back around.

I also LOL'd @ Edwards saying,
"I LOVE MY JOB!!!" ;-)
I STILL do not understand w/all the "mental problems" that Bailey had in the past its hard to believe they made her Chief? For awhile I haven't been a fan of hers, she's been irritating and LOUD. I don't know how Dr. Ben even stays married to her - yeah he's made mistakes but Bailey has made them as well.. Maybe she starting to get back to her old self which would be great, but this was just "one episode" where we saw the "old Bailey", lets see if it will continue. I just don't think she's good at the Chief job and wasn't ready for it. I guess Shonda knows WTF she's doing, right? I'm pulling for Bailey to become a better Chief and the writing for Bailey to improve.
shareThey made Hunt chief before. War vet with mental disorder triggers left and right left to set him off (i.e. choking Cristina and even after therapy still punching people out of rage/anger (i.e. deliberately breaking a patient's jar and adding additional violence thereafter; punching Riggs)
Their chief of Neuro Amelia Shepherd is a ticking timebomb of a mental breakdown and recovering addict.
Their chief of General Surgery Meredith Grey is a posterchild for mental damage.
To deny Bailey the position of chief based on her condition wouldn't fly long.
Seriously. Bailey is less *beep* up than most of the fools in that hospital.
