Dr Amelia Shepard Pregnant?

I noticed on the second episode this season, that Caterina Scorsone (Amelia) may be pregnant. At the time of taping, she would have been about 12 weeks. As she sat on the couch with Owen, her face looked more round. I then thought back to the scenes I had seen earlier in the episode. Billowing clothes, holding a clipboard in front of her tummy, many shots from mid chest up. These are all the tricks they use to hide a pregnancy. I hope they can write the pregnancy into the show. I think seeing Owen and Amelia dealing with an infant would be entertaining. As screwed up as they both are, they each have a good heart, and a child could bring out the best in them. It will mean some great comedy scenes, that's for sure.

I'm wondering if anyone has heard about Scorsone being pregnant, or if anyone else noticed what I observed on this episode?

She is. They said they wouldn't write it in, but we'll see.

Caterina announced that she was pregnant back in August. At the time she said that she did not think it would be written in but I am hoping that changes!

Unless they can dramatically change things or do a big time jump, it's impossible to match up to how far along she is right now

How can they write it in? Isn't she infertile? I vaguely remember her never being able to have children on private practice, but I could be wrong.

She had a baby who passed away but it wasn't due to anything genetic. Maybe that's what you're remembering?

Are you thinking of Addison instead of Amelia? Addison had fertility issues.
