The difference is Jackson didn't know how he felt for sure until that last moment. Things are still new with Riggs, they were together once, briefly and Maggie confessed to Meredith how she felt. All Meredith had to say is sorry, we already hooked up a couple of days ago. Then let the fall out happen, Mer can try to let go and let Maggie have a shot, Maggie can give up her quest of this high school crush and Riggs can go about his business of what he wants and if Mer chooses him, then her conscious is clear with Maggie. Stephanie knew about April and Jackson denied it. Maggie is clueless

'Meredith is INTENTIONALLY keeping people in the dark and giving riggs advice about how to carry on with this ruse instead of just being honest. And Riggs just listens to her....? It is making me hate both of them.

shareMaggie has no claim on Riggs, so she really has no right to be mad at Meredith for hooking up with Riggs BEFORE Maggie revealed her high school girl crush. This is stupid.
shareThe issue at hand has nothing to do with Mer hooking up with Riggs, but not telling Maggie about it after she told Mer how she feels about Riggs. All Mer had to do is say something happened between us before you telling. Me you like him.
If Maggie gets mad, it's 100% justified and it has nothing to do with having a claim on Riggs. It's about Mer knowingly lying and never coming clean despite at least four different opportunities.
If I were Maggie, I'd also be pissed that Meredith coached Riggs into saying no to Maggie and then stood by as Maggie moped.
I hope Alex shakes some sense into Mer.

Alex has enough on his plate to worry about Mer/Maggie drama, but Mer needs to come clean with Maggie. Maybe it will force her out of the house and we don't have to hear her whine all the time
