In tonights episode Amelia opened up about how her love had overdosed after they had one last binge. As someome who also watched Private Practice i was waiting for her to mentioned the baby as well but it never happened.
Do you guys think it could possibly become a storyline if Amelia ans Owen try and start a family together?
I don't know if Owen knows about her lost baby, but she has told several people how she held her baby for xxx min before he died. This was during the April baby thing last season. Also, I thought Owen already knew about what happened. I would have to go back and find the episode, but I remember it was after Derek died and she went on and on about all the men she has ever loved has died on her, her father, her boyfriend, her son, Derek (and in a way Mark too).
I saw those episodes of PP with Amelia and it was not convincing for me. She meets this guy, they get high a few times, decide to have one last high and promise to quit and then he dies. She goes on about how much she loved him. I don't think they even knew each other for a month.
She has brought up the baby before to Owen, so I assume that she told him about the baby but not about his parentage.
In the episode where April and Jackson lose Samuel, Amelia suggests to a few of them that they could light a candle in the hospital chapel. At the end of the episode, Owen sees Amelia in the chapel and he sits down next to her, and she says something like "My baby lived for 43 minutes". I can't imagine that Owen wouldn't have asked about that further, or that she wouldn't have told him more.

Didn't the previews for next week shown at the end of tonight's episode show Amelia announcing that she is expecting? Announcing before taking a test with the question being "is she or isn't she??"
You are probably right - Amelia thinks that she is pregnant prompting her to ask Owen all of those questions.
I don't know what is going on with the females at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital (or whatevet the name). The females seemed to be more forthcoming & confident in the past.
Was Derrick the source of their confidence?
Is everyone lacking a "person" to give support?
Even Meredith cannot tell Maggie about Riggs. If Cristina were there she would matter of factlt say "Magvie, Meredith has already been to the mountaintop with Riggs on multiple summits. Meredith doesn't know if this exploration with Riggs will lead to lack of oxygen & death, an avalanche, or reaching the highest part of the mountain only a few have made it to & seeing beauty that most people only read about. Maggie support Meredity. You are a young brilliant surgeon that can easily find another climbing parter that is not Riggs. Maggie stop your whining. Let Mer have fun. She lost the love of her life and has 3 children. Your life is unencumbered. Stop acting like it is and you are so fragile. Jeez, the way you whine made Mer afraid to tell you about Riggs. Mer was afraid she was going to break you. You really needed to live more and quit your constant long high pitched complaining cries."
Cristina would never let this Riggs drama last.
