Grey's spin-off

Ok so let's say Grey;'s ended but a character (Or a few) had a spin-off (we know they all fail anyway) who would you want to see in their own spin-off after this show ended?

I know Private Practice did quite well but that has been over for some time now.

That's a hard one because I can't imagine watching any of them individually because none of them are interesting enough for that. If I had to pick I think I'd like to see Bailey and Webber maybe go to another hospital where Webber becomes chief and Bailey is once again his right hand "man". They worked together with him as the boss and her as his sidekick.

I don't think any of the current characters are interesting enough on their own to justify a spin-off. There are definitely no Addison Montgomerys left. Maybe Stephanie? I could maybe see Shonda try to pull something off by having Stephanie complete her residency and go somewhere new. I also could have seen a spin-off featuring Callie and Penny in NY. Not that I think they would do well, mind you, but I could see Shonda trying it.

What the hell is a Stiles?

Have a "Paranormal Anatomy" spinoff where all the characters that died on the show are brought back and roam the halls as ghosts. I'm sure by then all the main characters with be killed off somehow anyway.

Before Lexie died, I would've said her.

Same, I'd have taken a Lexie spin off. She was my last favorite character. Her in a spin off with Mark and then Callie could have joined this season. Perhaps eventually Arizona.

But in response to the OP: no one left in the cast would be able to sustain a spin off. They're all so dependent on others to make themselves more interesting. I do agree with whoever said Arizona; she's independent enough to have her own show going and she is a natural leader/lead character type. But I doubt I'd watch it because I'm prettt neutral about Arizona.

A rose is just a rose.

Have Arizona start her own private practice as a fetal surgeon. They could have some really interesting cases, not to mention her private life. Have her move somewhere else closer to NY, but not in NY, say Baltimore or Boston.

Since they've already explored private practice and a hospital, I think maybe April or Owen in going back to the Army and exploring doctors in war torn country. Not necessarily because i like them best but just because it might be interesting if done well.

My vote would be for April and Jackson! They have great chemistry and I could watch their scenes all day!

They'd have my vote, too!

ABC already ran Combat Hospital a few years ago (joint production between ABC and Canadian Shaw media). It received very good ratings in Canada, but didnt do so well in the US, and ABC cancelled it after the first season (13 eps). I doubt ABC would go for another show with such a similar theme.

Shaw wasn't able to find another broadcast partner to help cover the costs of the show, so they had to cancel it, too. Otherwise, I'd still be watching it via internet like Saving Hope, that NBC cancelled after one season.

Stephanie. I don't know why but she's about the only character I like these days. Everyone else seems to make such drama out of the smallest things. I love her darkness as well. I could see her becoming this hot-shot neurologist who gets the strangest cases, a bit of a Derek/House-hybrid so to say, but her drug will be a legal one. It might just be that she's addicted to her job and has no social life because of it, but it could also be something darker I dunno. I think her private life can be fleshed out a lot more, so that too leaves room for her to get a spin-off. We really don't know anything about her. I could see her keep in touch with Webber, but please keep Jo out of it (unless they finally have her grow out of the whiny 'I was homeless' girl-style and grow her into a 'I'm a succesful surgeon' woman and break her up with Alex)
