Whyyyy do they keep dressing her in these hideous flood pants and loafers?? She isn't 90! It looks awful. She's a gorgeous woman but I swear sometimes the way they style her makes her look like she's in her 50s at least.

Yep you're right. Amelia was asking how to tell Owen she was preggo. Mer said she told Derek about Bailey by giving Zola the big sister shirt. She said she didn't have to tell Derek about Elise because he was already dead. May sound callous to some, but it's the truth, he was dead...
sharenot to mention her callousness isn't exactly callousness but rather just how she used to handle things in the past. she'd make inappropriate, dark-humored jokes a ton and i was so happy to see that side of her again. ciara99 is right. he's dead. there's nothing she can do to change that. it kind of made me a bit sad that maggie was like "well this was fun for a second" because had it been christina, she'd have known mer wasn't trying to be a downer, etc. it just showed more to me that maggie is clueless when it comes to mer and her personality.

Yeah I forgot about that w/Derek being dead, thanks for reminding me. Also, I think the one who needs to quit toying around whether she wants children or not is Amelia b/c she KNOWS she married a man (OWEN) who made it clear he would love to have little ones running around the house. I hope they DO write the actress playing Amelia's pregnancy into the show and that the home/hospital test was wrong and she is INDEED pregnant; otherwise, Owen married under false pretenses b/c Amelia was all for it b/4 they were married.... we can't go thru another abortion sl w/Owen been there done that w/Christina. I love Owen and he would make a fantastic father and I was really "rooting" for Owen/Amelia -- still don't want to see my Owen hurt again.
shareI'm sorry but how is Amelia against it if she is not pregnant while she thought she was? She wants kids, they just talked about it, she was sad when the test was negative, I'm p sure she wants kids still with Owen and is just sad it didn't work out and I'm p sure that it also brought back memories to her miscarriage. A woman in Amelia's position is logically afraid she'll miscarry again IF she could even get pregnant at all!

shareWhat bothers me is except for scrubs or a fancy party, the only thing Mer wears now is stripes. Her sheets are stripes. Since season 8 that's all they dress her in. In seasons 1-4 or 5 they had her in pastels, bright colors, purple, red, pink. Maybe thats the actress as well as she is often pictured in stripes in other functions.

She looks beautiful in promos, but plain in episodes. It takes me 15 minutes at most to put on concealer ( inherited) mascara, eyeliner & blush. I've included moisturizer & sunscreen.
It's time for her casual clothes to perk up. Time for widows weeds to go. Riggs is interested in her & she should dress a bit better.
