is boring!

I don't know if is because there is no more Derek, Cristina, Callie, Mark, Lexie...
and we have Maggie, she is sometimes soooo childish,
Amelia, I like her, but sometimes she is annoying too.
and Riggs! God, he doesn't have charisma at all!!!

I think my favorite character is Ben Warren! I like Owen and Stephanie and I don't care about April and Jackson and their baby.

I actually don't know why I keep watching this show. They need more people with interesting stories!

It has definitely been a BIG yawn so far! I feel you about continuing to watch. I am doing the same since I started from the beginning. I'd just like to see the ending already. I have to see how it all goes so I continue hehe.

Shonda has lied to us for 3 seasons. First season 11/12 were supposed to be lighter/Derek dies, Samuel dies, Meredith is attacked by a patient, April and Jackson break up, April had a C-section from hell, Catherine once again becomes Monster in law with the lets take April's baby away. And then Alex beats the crap out of Deluca. AZ and Callie have a drag out fight over custody & then all is forgiven, and Callie not only leaves, but Sara Rameriz quits

She said season 13 would focus on the originals. So far that has been Meredith & Alex (Alex because of beating up Delucca & Meredith for supporting him). But they have the other characters more in focus. Jo, Delucca possibly plotting, April & Jackson dealing with a new baby and while I love them, they are not originals. Owen & Amelia--again not originals. Very little Bailey except to admonish Alex. Ben off & on-not an original. Webber, some interaction with Alex, but not a lot. AZ-not an original but just some interaction with Alex & Delucca. Riggs/Maggie/Meredith (Yawn)

It cannot be all originals because there are only 4 left. Ben is married to an original, so of course he would be included, Riggs is involved with Meredith and Jo with Alex, so yeah, you're going to see them. After those four, Owen, Arizona and then April are the first in the next wave of cast members.

I know, but that is what Shonda said "the originals" Meaning the 4 remaining. And yes they will have interaction with the originals, the focus was supposed to be on those 4 and they are not. All I am saying is Shonda has lied to us for 3 years when instead she should probably not say anything at all.

Compared to the depressing Season 11, Season 12 was much lighter. That's why I enjoyed it so much. It still had some drama, but it was nowhere near as depressing as Season 11.

We've only seen 4 episodes out of 24, so give it some time. Two of the biggest storylines so far involve two originals: Mer's love triangle and Alex's ordeal. Bailey was also in the forefront. The only original who hasn't been in the centre so far is Webber.

I don't remember her promising season 11 would be light. Also I don't think Richard is ever gonna get a storyline as big as his alcoholism back in season 6. He's just the fun dad figure. Like Bailey becoming mean boss figure.

Ok, correction, but she did say season 12 would be lighter & IMO it was not.

she seems good actress but Maggie is in love for this bland Riggs, and while Riggs want to bang Meredith,.. c'mon this is Grey's Anatomy or Glee?

No season 10 was boring and it had Derek and Christina. This season isn't the most exiting but it is FAR from the worst

Amelia talks so much it gets irritating
I wish there had been a spinoff with Christina at her new hospital, I would watch that so much
April was never a popular character in the beginning for being so whiny and ugh, why they keep focusing on her confuses me.

I just finished watching season 11 and I have to say I liked Maggie a lot during that season. Unfortunately they've made her so childish and annoying with this whole Riggs storyline.

I'm not sure how many seasons they have got left, the show seems to keep going on and on. I remember them saying 8 seasons because that's how long Ellen was going to stay with the show....now here we are in season 13. They've already lost Cristina, Derek and Callie because the actors wanted to leave, who's going to leave next? This is a long time to stick with one series, I can see other long standing cast members deciding to leave soon.

The show is a bit lifeless this year but recent seasons have picked up Midyear so maybe it will again.
