I didn't see THAT coming

So we've got the sweetest, most lovable granny in the world hours from getting the life-saving liver she'd been waiting on for three years.

Then we've got a young woman who will die in hours if she doesn't get a life-saving liver.

A liver is on its way, apparently matching both patients.

But playing against type, lovable granny refuses to give up her liver.

Who didn't see THAT coming?

Meanwhile a rough, gruff military-type guy is having heart surgery and all he wants is to hear a joke. Of course, the doctor can't come up with even the lamest knock-knock. So of course the guy dies.

Again, who didn't see THAT coming?

But most amazingly of all, not only is dead guy an organ donor, his liver is a PERFECT MATCH for young woman who needs a liver stat.

I ask you again, who didn't see THAT coming?

Oh, and two brawny male surgeons flabbergasted by a wee widdle baby and changing its diaper like surgery?

C'mon, writers, can't you do better than this? It's like you're not even trying!

reply

I'll agree with all but the baby and surgeons. It was quite humorous. The tag team, diaper surgery was great. However in earlier episodes, Owen had no problems taking care of kids

It was a very weak episode in my opinion.
