I can see them together, despite Deluca being a bit lame and non manly, but it would hurt Jo's character to go with him. It would feel like the writers are throwing out the good stuff they already created for her and Alex.

I'm fine with them as friends, bc Jo really needs a solid friend but not as a relationship...
Maybe it's because I got attached to so many years of Jolex and like the stability/continuation, but I would rather Jo get back with Alex and fix their issues. Alex was finally happy and in a decent relationship, it seems really annoying to have to start from scratch all over again.
Although, the good thing about JoLuca is that she wouldn't be carrying around the awfully annoying secret.
